I really like this straightforward and honest article written by Managing Editor of Today.com, Amy Ely. In the article, she shared her experience getting her brows miocrobladed. There is a short video excerpt of her technician explaining the process. Afterwards, Amy shares how she felt and makes an honest recommendation based on her experience.

At the bottom of the article is an especially helpful video regardless of whether you choose to have microblading done or not. For those who prefer to do their own brows, the video teaches you how to shape them using the “Golden Ratio” that many artists are fond of. It teaches you where the ideal eyebrow should begin, where the middle should be, and where it should end. It also demonstrates a method for measuring and drawing these eyebrows that many microbladers use and that can even be used just to draw or fill in your own eyebrows. I really recommend it. It’s called “How to get the perfect eyebrow shape.” There’s a commercial before it starts but it’s worth the wait.
